Jose Martin joined the Gerstman Financial Group in 2003.  Among his qualifications, Jose is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ , professional, a General Securities Representative, Investment Adviser Representative, licensed for life, health, and disability income insurance, and holds the Certification in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation.  

He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Sciences from New York University in 1993 and was recipient of the Institution’s prestigious Founder’s Day Award for excellence in Academics. 

Jose enjoys discussing religion, politics, philosophy, and is an avid movie-buff.  He also loves "self-work" and lives the credo:  "A life unexamined is not worth living".

Jose firmly believes that we have not inherited the world from our parents but rather are merely borrowing it from our children.   He is married to Sharon, his high school sweetheart and is blessed to have two children who inspire him every day to leave the world a better place than he found it - his daughter Ariel, and son Jacob.
